About Us

The MWESL Fund Annual Fundraising celebration is hosted by the MetroWest ESL Fund, a 501(c)(3) organization committed to assisting immigrants in building solid foundations, promoting the development of future American generations, and cultivating vibrant communities. Area business leaders established this fund in 1999 to meet the high demand for English classes at Framingham Adult ESL Plus (FAESL+). Since 1984, FAESL+ has been helping adult learners of English to acquire the skills needed to achieve their economic and educational aspirations in the MetroWest region.

We strongly believe that by supporting organizations that give our community members the opportunity to learn English, our entire community reaps numerous benefits. Students become more productive employees, are able to start their own businesses, and get more involved in the community.
